Just another seventeen year old passing his test, but with the commited aid of XL Driving.
Graham Briggs has been a pleasure to have and communicate with over the past weeks and months, he has enabled me to develop not just as a safe, confident driver, but as an individual. Driving is an important aspect of anyone’s life and allows the fluency to become natural the more and more you drive. Whilst being an integeral notion, learning to drive also gives you confidence and the belief that passing your test makes you a safe driver.
Learning to drive with Graham was a joy...his relaxed and gentle nature allowed me to not worry or fret and just get on with the learning. As a person he is open, honest and easy to talk to so I always looked forward to my next lesson. Despite my sometimes scary and dangerous driving he never got stressed or raised his voice...so going into my test I felt calm and confident...and yes I passed first time. I can wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking to make learning to drive a positive experience
Having spent many unproductive and frustrating months trying to learn to drive with another driving school and failing the test 3 times, I decided to switch to XL. I was put in touch with Graham and from our first lesson I knew I had done the right thing. Right from the start Graham was highly motivated and committed to teaching me how to drive and I learned so many skills that other instructors had failed to teach me. Lessons were tailored to my needs, as a more mature learner, and Graham was friendly, professional and most importantly, patient throughout. Graham was also very honest about my progress and this helped me become a more confident driver. Needless to say the first test I did under Graham’s tuition I passed. I came to Graham with little confidence in my driving ability and I really want to thank him for the time he has put into helping me develop into a fully licensed driver! I really enjoyed learning with Graham and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
The first time I sat in the drivers seat I was terrified, but Graham helped me feel at ease. He never criticised me for my driving, he just gave hints and tips along the way to guide and encourage me. It was a pleasure learning with Graham, even when I made mistakes, he gave no criticisms or harsh judgements, just constructive advice that helped me get through the harder aspects. I would definitely recommend Graham, as he made me feel completely at ease, and he is easy to talk with, which definitely made me more comfortable, and enabled me to drive better. I would not have become as confident with my driving as I am now, were it not for Graham.
